This is a crazy month if you follow the smart phone industry. Since September 3, we have heard announcements for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge, Sony Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, Moto X, Moto G, HTC Desire 820, Desire Eye, Nokia Lumia 730, Lumia 735, Lumia 830, and Sony Xperia Z3v. I’m sure I missed one or two.
I’ve been spending a lot of time with these phones and when the Nokia Lumia 530 was released last Sunday in the United States, I got one to review it and the camera was a huge disappointment. It doesn’t focus. I got the Nokia Lumia 635 to compare it to and I am super psyched about it.

On September 4, 2014, Motorola announced a new family of products: the Moto X, Moto G, Moto 360, and Moto Hint. The Moto 360 is an Android Wear watch and the Moto Hint is a Bluetooth earpiece that is smaller than my fingertip. While the Moto 360 and the Moto Hint are accessories, the Moto X and the Moto G are phones. There is no reason to use both of them.
The Moto G comes in at $179 and the Moto X comes in at $499, assuming that it’s not customized with a wood or leather back, in which case they tack on another $25. So therein lies the question. Is the Moto X worth the extra $320? The Moto X will be the best Android phone to be released this year, but is it $320 better? Let’s find out.

The Moto X is poised to be the best Android phone released this year, so we thought it would be fair to compare it to other flagship phones across the board. We’ve already done the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, Nokia Lumia 1020, and OnePlus One. Now it’s time for the HTC One M8.
Both the Moto X and the HTC One M8 use Snapdragon 801 processors, although the HTC One M8 is 2.3 GHz and the Moto X is 2.5 GHz. Certainly not a noticeable difference. they both use 2 GB RAM, but there is a solid difference between the two cameras.

Both the Moto X and the OnePlus One are amazing in different ways. The OnePlus One and the Moto X both use 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 processors and a 13 MP rear camera. They are also both fantastic phones for the prices they are sold for, but that’s about all they have in common.
The OnePlus One beats the Moto X in specs. It uses 3 GB RAM and has a 5 MP front facing camera where the Moto X uses 2 GB RAM and a 2 MP front camera. The OnePlus One sells their 16 GB model for $300 and Motorola sells the 16 GB Moto X for $500.
The Moto X is poised to be the best Android phone this year, so it stands to reason that we should compare it with it’s competitors. So far, we’ve done the Nokia Lumia 1020. This will focus on the OnePlus One.

The Moto X is going to be the best Android phone released this year. the original Moto X had lots of great features with a mid range processor. This year, the Moto X uses a 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, they jacked up the camera from 10 MP to 13 MP, and they upgraded from a 4.7″ 720p display to a 5.2″ 1080p display.
So being that the Moto X will be the best Android phone to be released during 2014, it is only fair to see how it measures up to its competitors. We will compare the camera of the Moto X to the camera on the Nokia Lumia 1020, iPhone 6, HTC One M8, and OnePlus One. This will focus on the Nokia Lumia 1020.

The hot new iPhones are here right along with the hot new Android phone. On September 5, Motorola announced the second generation Moto X and on September 9, Apple announced the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus.
We all know that an iPhone release gets more press than any blockbuster movie does in a year. Because of this, the Moto X may be overlooked, which is a huge mistake by any potential smart phone buyer. The Moto X will be the best Android phone to be released this year.
This will be my fourth camera comparison of the iPhone 6 Plus. I have already compared it to the OnePlus One, HTC One M8, and Nokia Lumia 1020. This will be a big one. After all, the others are flagship competitors, but the iPhone 6 and the Moto X are both hot off the presses.

The Moto X that Motorola announced on September 4 will undoubtedly be the best Android phone to be released this year. It uses a 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 or 32 GB storage, a 13 MP rear camera with 4K video, and a 2 MP front facing camera. The body is completely customizable and it just has tons of cool features.
This will be a review of the camera, so here is goes.
