Earlier this week, we learned that AT&T would be selling the LTE Surface 3 in their stores starting today. Well, surprise! As it turns out, this is also the day that Microsoft is going to begin selling the unlocked models.
The Surface 3 will be $599 for the model with 2 GB RAM and 64 GB SSD and it will be $699 for the model with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB SSD. Also, at the end of this month, T-Mobile will also be selling the LTE model.

Yesterday, I called up AT&T to cancel two lines of service. I canceled my Mi-Fi hotspot, which I never used. I also canceled a tablet line, which was under contract (long story) but no more, despite the fact that I haven’t even used the line in 500 years. I told them I’d love to keep the line and get a Surface 3 LTE if they sell them, trying to see if I can get the inside scoop. They said no.
Well, here we are, a day later and as it turns out, AT&T will begin selling the Surface 3 this Friday, July 24. Of course, we have no idea which models AT&T is selling.

Sad news for fans of the Surface Hub. It has been delayed. It’s too bad. I was going to wallpaper my room with them.
Anyway, the Surface Hub was slated for launch on September 1, as preorders began on July 1. Microsoft claims that they have to fine tune their manufacturing process so they can make these things on a broader scale. There will be an updated shipping schedule in early August.
This isn’t likely to hurt the firm’s bottom line. I think that most that were going to buy a Surface Hub still are. Microsoft claims that since July 1, they have seen “strong demand out of the gate.”
If you want to grab a Surface Hub, you can get one for the low, low price of just $6,999 for the 55″ model and $19,999 for the 84″ model.

Just in case you’re in the U.S. and you were thinking that the big hardware launch would be in New York City, you were dead wrong. Expect to see all of that fancy new Windows 10 hardware on September 4 in Berlin.
Every year after Computex is IFA. If you’ll recall, IFA is where Microsoft launched the Nokia Lumia 730, 735, and 830 as well as where they announced Lumia Denim, so they’re no stranger to big news at IFA. Expect to see big news from other OEMs as well, as it’s usually time for Samsung to launch the next product in their Note line, Motorola to launch a new Moto X, Moto G, and Moto 360 (assuming they follow the same schedule as last year), and maybe even Sony will launch their second half flagship.

When I first purchased the Surface Pro 3, I bought the Core i5 model with 8 GB RAM and a 256 GB SSD. As soon as I ran Photoshop, I realized that something was wrong with my PC. Drivers crashed and things just went wrong. I took it into the Microsoft Store and I’ll never forget what Charles (the Microsoft Store technician) said to me: “There comes a time in a man’s life when he must choose between a Core i5 and a Core i7″.
Microsoft has now released another model of the Surface Pro 3 and it’s a bit…curious.

The Surface Hub is here! Well, not here, but you can preorder it! Well, not yet, but you can preorder it on July 1!
Let’s start with pricing. It’s $6999 for the 55″ model and $19,999 for the 84″ model. But it’s not just screen sizes that are different. The two different size Surface Hubs use different fourth generation Intel processors and the larger model has more USB 2 ports.
