Do you remember when the iPhone 4 launched? Steve Jobs presented the device, and always, the performance was legendary. No one can argue that Jobs was an amazing showman.
The big feature of the iPhone 4 was that it would be the first iPhone to have a Retina display. Jobs explained that there was a certain pixel density, right around 325 ppi, where a user simply couldn’t tell the difference between that and anything more. Of course, he failed to mentioned that it assumes that the user has 20/20 vision or that the user would be looking at his phone from an average distance, but sure, we’ll take it.
