Microsoft Brings Thunder with High End Surface Book and Surface Pro 4

The Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 have suffered their fair share of issues. Weathering that bad news is that the super high end models of the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 are now available.

When I say super high end, I mean it. We’re talking 16 GB of RAM, 1 TB of storage, and a Core i7. If you’re going the Surface Book route, you get a discrete GPU in that package as well.

Just thinking about it makes me want to channel my inner Tim Taylor and grunt, “More power!” Here’s an example:

I couldn’t find the original clip from Home Improvement, but you get the point. Well, you get the point if you’ve seen the show.

Anyway, I digress…

You can grab the 1 TB Surface Book with 16 GB RAM, a Core i7, and a discrete GPU for the low, low price of $3199 right here. Don’t need a discrete GPU? The Surface Pro 4 is just for you. You can grab the Surface Pro 4 with 16 GB RAM, 1 TB storage, and a Core i7 for just $2699 right here.

You may have heard that there are some power consumption issues with the Surface Pro 4 and the Surface Book, particularly with the Surface Book. The problem is that Microsoft really hasn’t done anything to handle the issues and has made minimal promises that they’re even going to fix the issues.

If you ask me, $3199 is a lot to spend on a laptop if you’re not absolutely sure it’s going to work for you, but hey, that’s why Microsoft has a 30 day return policy, right?

Let’s face the facts here. If you’re in the market for a high end laptop, this Surface Book is the best of the best of the best.
