Apple Releases iOS 9.2, Xcode 7.2

Today, Apple released iOS 9.2 and Xcode 7.2 to the public. At the time of this writing, there’s still no sign of Mac OS X 10.11.2 El Capitan or tvOS, or even a watchOS update, but then again, Apple still hasn’t updated their developer site to reflect today’s updates, so anything could happen.

Apple was pushing out new betas for iOS 9.2, Mac OS X 10.11.2 El Capitan, tvOS 9.2, and Xcode 7.2 weekly until they mysteriously stopped about three weeks ago, Obviously, they were preparing for a public release.

iOS 9.2 doesn’t include a lot of new front facing features. It does include Apple Music improvements, a new Top Stories section in News, and Mail Drop for sending large attachments through Mail.

Xcode 7.2 really just updates the APIs for iOS 9.2, tvOS 9.1, and Mac OS X 10.11.2 El Capitan.

UPDATE: Mac OS X 10.11.2 El Capitan and tvOS 9.1 now available.
